A combination of nature and dental work for an all natural dental laboratory
In this design I am combining nature and dental work using a tree as negative space in place of the tooth root. The client is a natural dental laboratory so I would have liked to involve technology in the design but this was very conflicting with the nature aspect. Any input on how to incorporate technology and/or how the logo stands as is would be greatly appreciated.

Nice idea but this looks more like a nail than a tree or something organic. The thoughts of a nail and my teeth makes the back of my eyeballs itch. Work one a different image for that negative space I think, that shape just doesn't say nature to me.
Agree with brian, nice idea but at present the tooth doesn't look like a tooth and the tree don't look a tree. Keep going though.
I first thought the image in the negative space was an atomic plume, then I realized it was a dental lab and saw someone with a smile. Don't have any real problem with the tooth, that works fine with Dental Laboratory. I think you need to rethink the tree.
