Brief from client
This logo is for my new business. The icon is a small crop of a larger abstract illustration of a boat being launched down a slipway into the water. A new entity being created.

For starters, GOOD JOB on the font choice/set up! Very nicely done and well kerned. The symbol I'm not completely sold on. I like that it's simple- but is it too simple? I'm guessing we're not supposed to be able to tell that it's a part of a boat being launched, which is good because I never would have figured that... not sure why it's mentioned in the brief I guess. But yeah, my concern is that it might be too simple- but I could be all wrong! Hopefully you'll get some more opinions from other folks.

i like it, looks clean and sober...the typography layout looks fine, maybe add a little color to make a highlight in the logo, its a design company after all
