Podcast has a mascot baby ogre , the idea is utilize the colors Purple and Orange because represents creativity, elegance and energetic. This fit very nice with the wheel of colors.
This is the first results of the project. The idea of the mascot is be looks casual, and the title appears in backline in discrete mode.

To start off, this logo is incredibly hard to read. Not only with the ogre overlapping some of the letters, but the font itself. Since you describe the mascot being 'casual' I would try and match the font to that theme.
I'll be honest, the colors reminded me more of Mardi Gras, not necessarily "creativity, elegance, and energetic." You already have 4 colors going on within the ogre itself. And now you're adding 2 more within the text and background. I would try and limit your color palette to something more simple and intentional. A podcast logo should be recognizable from something as tiny as a phone screen to as big as a computer monitor.
As for the ogre itself, I think he's rather cute! However, his pixelated design comes off quite amateurish and really doesn't match the logo's font choice. If your intention is to make this logo fun, playful, and casual, I would try and carry that theme over to all elements of the logo. Making everything cohesive, at least, will make the logo stronger and come off as more intentional.
