ONWARD

Brief from client

I am creating this logo for a branding project for a coffee company called Onward.
Its a coffee company that uses waste coffee as a biofuel to power a mobile coffee van.

I had a logo that had things that included a van, but i dont want to force too much into the logo and felt that his approach inspired by swirled milk was better and more memorable.

Hello! Your curves could use a little work in the swirl- and this will definitely benefit from color (so your mug doesn't look also like a ping pong paddle!)

But my main beef is the wording- it's awkward to say, as well as redundant.I don't think your tagline is centered between those lines either.

You should look into better fonts as well. This one isn't very bad, it's just "meh". Your symbol is rounded off- maybe a font with a bit of rounded edges would compliment better. Then balance out the size of text vs symbol some- the symbol is over powering right now.

Good start- no where near complete! =)

I agree, the basic idea is really cool but this is very far from being finished. What we have here feels rushed and poorly thought through.

You need to spend much more time sketching ideas on how to make it look and relevant while keeping things very simple.

There is definitely potential for a really cool logo, if only you log in a few more hours.

Keep it up!

I agree as well. I defintely think you got something here. The logo itself does seem to kind of contradict the name as you have a arrow coming to a dead end. Maybe try reversing the location of the arrow and make it more subtle. Defintely needs more hours of work.
