Yes but no =)

I like the general style, but I don't think that skeleton legs are appropriate for a medical logo. Yes, I know that it's for orthopedists, and having bones would make sense, but this too gloomy/pirate-y looking.

Basically, I think the whole vintage look doesn't fit this particular type of client. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but if doctors should have a logo, I would want to see something that more reassuring and medical looking. This looks more like a logo for a cool brand of skateboards.

...I'm sure he read the brief.... and what he mentioned still stands out as some good advice, if you ask me. (Contemporary and different doesn't necessarily mean pirate-ish = good idea!)
