Brief from client
Wants a new logo design that can be easily translated to their other product offerings. Owner is very drawn to geometrical shapes and indicated a preference for the color grenn or orange for the logo.
There current logo is a very generic roof line if a home. I wanted to take some of that same shape, but incorporate more substance and visual appeal. The two logos on the bottom show how the logo can incorporate their other service offerings.

I like it for the client, too often these types of companies have a DIY logo look, but this is a nice use of color and font. Good work.
It's slightly complex, but at least uniquely recognisable. I think it works.
It just seems a place where there are mountains. I would try different ways to these illustrations!
Thank you for the feedback. The client has narrowed it down to this version and another that I was really hoping he wouldn't...but it was exactly what he asked for...so I had to deliver. I am going to be incorporating your feedback on the symbol before I send over the next round of proofs.
I like the simple horizontal version, square one is too busy.
