Brief from client 

Looking for a simple, clean look where just the logo (no text) can be used for imprinted products and embroidery.

Based on what you stated above -about needing it to work with just the logo- I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this won't work. Assuming that the part of this logo that would have to work solo is the crown. (!?) The crown just doesn't work to me- it looks really dated, as does the font you chose for the tagline. Or maybe the font is 'dated' so much as it just clashes with the Paramount font, which looks old Hollywood and kind of regal. The tagline on the other hand looks super casual and reminds me of a teenager's handwriting.

But more importantly- the crown. Keep the crown idea if you like it a lot, but maybe just try a different style or something that doesn't look so clip arty. Maybe a classy/modern spotlight? I dunno!

Lastly the color! I would suggest not using such a bright green- it's kind of jarring, won't ever print as bright as you'd want it, and it's also kind of juvenile... On the other hand if you specialize in promoting child/young adult actors it might be perfect!?!
