Brief from client
The client want a brand tipical of the business area, but, no as "brute visual" that have the common brands. She's wanted one brand with one modern visual, different and no too masculinized.
I developed that brand with one concept; Mountains.
As the firm acts in quarry area, I choose one thing to represent it and same time help me to represent the initials of the firm's name.
Pedreira Macêdo is the name, and your initials are P and M, I represent it with three apparent mountains, alterning colors for broke the simplicity and adding one inner shadow to help in application of the logo in different backgrounds.

Two things:
1. It looks a lot like adidas, which also represents a mountain.
2.If that's a mountain, then the yellow angle is lava
I guess it's supposed to be a "P" but you don't need it. You only need the "M"
I like everything else. You need to work on those details so you can create some design that looks 100% original
i dont no what the name of the logo means, but lose the inner shadow on the "pedreira" and probably all uppercase letters wud look better.
One "Pedreira" is one "Quarry".

I have to agree with luenib, It looks a lot like adidas
You will definitely need to clean up the icon and make it look less like adidas logo.
Text is looking blurry because of your bevel/shadow treatment, remove it.
Almost forgot, the umlaut on 'e' is glued to your graphic, you should give it some space there.
I had noticed this detail accent graphic "e" only after I put here. Thanks. ;)
Make the "P" more obvious and make it look less like the Adidas logo and it should work.

Esta muy bien, solo separa un poco mas el texto de la montaña y puedes agregarle un detalle como el acento de la e en Macedo en amarillo, la parte amarilla de la montaña siento como que no se ve bien ahi porque lo carga mas a la izquierda, una opcion seria que la colocaras sobre el hueco que queda en la parte superior de la montaña, te adjunto solo una muestra que hice rapido je, je, tu sabars hacerlo mejor y no te preocupes, solo un estupido creeria que es el logo de Adidas :-p
Si, los estupidos y tambien los que han visto una vez el logo de adidas :)
