Personal Identity Logo 2

Brief from client
Personal logo identity for myself
Just need more constructive criticism on whether this is a good personal identity logo
Again, you've created a lovely little icon, but it's totally let down by the colours and typography. It's a bit disjointed. Nothing lines up nicely. For instance, the gap in the icon, should be reflected in the gap between the text etc...
You have been given a lot of constructive suggestions for the previous logo, but your response has been along the lines of 'I can't' or 'I'm a man, so I can't design anything feminine". Well I've got news for you buddy, you're not always going to be designing things for the demographic you're in (I guess you fit in the male 15-25 group). I've had to create designs that target middle aged women. Guess what, I'm not middle aged and not a woman...well, maybe sometimes at weekends...x
Experiment with colours/type and remember, it's not about what you like, it's about what's right for your customers. I don't know who your customers are, so it's difficult to tell you what direction to go in.
Well I am not losing blue because its a color that has always been my favorite color, and this is my own personal logo so I don't know why it needs to be right for the customer
"so I don't know why it needs to be right for the customer"... You are a business. Any business is kept afloat by their customers. Your statement should be "It needs to be right for the customer." You are not designing yourself a tattoo. You are designing a piece of branding that needs to speak to a broad target market. Use blue if you want but make sure you are thinking about this the right way.

You realize that there is quiet a few different shades of blue?
As of now, you're logo is still interesting, but it's still way too dull and corporate.
You might want to add a second color to complement that blue you like so much. Check out this site: http://www.colorexplorer.com/colormatch.aspx
Love that thing. :)
