for school. Task: convey a word through your logo initials.
My word was RELAXED.

Still in process and need refinements. I would love to hear thoughts on my work so far. Any inputs, suggestions, opinions, and critiques would be greatly appreciated.

I dig your idea of using your initials to create a logo. You're on a right path. I would try to make top part of the " Y " with soft curves as you have on the " S " and tacked slightly two top tips around the top portion of the " S " to create an image as you are resting on a pillow with with your arms under your head. Hope that I explained well. Good luck.
You have an idea that sort of works, but it looks more melted than relaxed.
I think to improve this concept you need to sketch out some more ideas.
A whole bunch more ideas.
Then, sketch even more ideas. And a few more. Plus, some more. Take a few hours doing this.
