Brief from client
I am Robbert Kleijnen.
I study mediadesign and i made this logo for a school project.
Something about the logo;
The text inside the 2 square's is my full name and the text beneath the squares is my job (mediadesign).
The colors I used are blue and white because those colors fit me the most and the logo is about me.

Ok, I green thumbed everything but it doesn't mean this logo is perfect.
But you're onto something. I would remove the white space that cuts the logo in two. It makes it hard to read. The subtext is way too close from the blue rectangle.
Globally, the composition is a bit too tight for my taste. Try loosen things up a little bit, to let each element breath. Add some space around the word ark, for example.
Also, why a capital R on "Robert" and no capital K on "kleynen"?

I agree on the white line (like Shawali said) I think the word 'mediavormgever' is the biggest problem. Too small, too tight to the blue box, too long?
Maybe just move up the blue box on the right?
Need to go with 2m4 and Shawali, not yet a huge fan....

But like 2m4 said, "mediavormgever" is quite strange, why don't you use "ontwerper" f.e.?
Just maybe you could put your last name a bit smaller so it plays more with the word "kleynen" (bastardization of the word small(er)).
