Brief from client
This is a personal logo that I have created for myself. I do hand lettering and logo design and I wanted the logo to give the impression that the logos have a personal touch.
My name is James Turner so I took my initials and made this logo.
I like the logo and think I am going in the right direction, however I feel that its not as a good as it could be and I wondered if anyone could give their opinion and some suggestions on what I could do to improve the design of the logo.

I like this...it would be even better if you were a mathematician! (it looks a bit like PI). You might need to put your name with it. It seems somewhat incomplete.

Would you suggest putting my name underneath of incorporate it into the design somehow?
probably underneath, but I am not the be all end all in this blog. See what others say.
