Brief from client
Simple design for small business.
Man needed simple design for his small business, repairing Jeeps.
Just looking for pointers on what works and what doesn't.
You need to start over. The globe is over used so get rid of it. Look for a more serious font. loose the two bars as I do not think they have a meaning.
why don´t you try to use some lines to represent the characteristic shape of a Jeep instead of half use it´s logo, also that typo looks too retro and curvey for something related to cars, use the actual typo of Jeep at least for "Jeep" and a more square solid typo for the other words (or just one typo) . Don´t be afraid to use more than one color... because honestly I agree: this is not a design, nor is a logo
Typography is boring - Bauhaus is an outdated and overused font
Colors are boring
I suggest going in a different approach - there are many more effective ways you could explore logo design for this company. Look up other auto re-sellers that have the owner's name as part of the business! best of luck. Remember - The best critique is an honest critique.

Nor is design, nor is a logo. Try something else.

The 2 bars I believe are part of the jeep logo, as is the globe. It's half of the logo.

The idea is undeveloped
The symbol/symbolism is ineffective/generic
