Phlourish communications

Brief from client
A logo design for a communication firm. Will be gladknowing your views and comments. Thanks
I immediately see a birdman type figure. Made me think of carrier pigeons. What was your intention here, if I may ask? I think you can develop on this if it still has a modern design feel. I'm not a fan of the colors myself. One problem I see is that the symbol overtakes the name. That's going to be problematic when you scale it down. Another thing I'm concerned about is that I immediately think it's Phlourish.com rather than PhlourishCom. Good luck.
This logo could give Windows 95 a run for its money. I don't know what this has to do with communication, I don't know how its unique to this company, and I immediately saw a person curved down for some reason.

Points well noted.. a figure sending information, so the wing-like object is the means... This was my intention... will work on it.. Thanks!
I find this logo very dated. To me, it looks like a ski brand from the 70's.
the colors don't work, as well as the symbol and font style. it does look like a 70s logo sorry
