Brief from client
Web design and development startup
I hope you get the full message of the logo and give me a feedback about it. Thanks in advance!
Sorry to say I don't get "the full message"- not right off the bat- could you elaborate on your process with this logo??
I do like your typography- double check the kerning around the letter O- it may need just a little adjustment.
Is it a semi-colon?
Do semi-colons have something to do with web design or development? I honestly don't know.
Are you trying to make these square pixels? Because pixels are not diagonal.
Yes i wanted to represent the word "code" with "semicolon" which is a vital component of a program syntax as "xTheKillswitch" said. About the pixels part, i wanted to show it in a different away which i have seen before in many logos.
To answer Waffles' question, semicolons are common in coding syntax, but I wouldn't rank them as high on the list of things that remind me of code. Granted, there is a very narrow spectrum of symbols that you have at your disposal, such as brackets and slashes, but those are very commonly used.
I would agree on the shapes, though. Those don't remind me of pixels. What you had before you changed the post was closer, but try and blend the two better. It's hard to reference what I'm talking about without a link to the original, but hopefully you know what I mean.

Thanks for your feedback. Do you suggest changing the whole idea or better representing it?

Honestly, I'm just completely confused. Sorry.

Thanks, i would take your thoughts in consideration and i'll upload another version of this logo.
