Brief from client
Design a logo for a family owned business. The name comes from some or other old galic word and is pronounced "planshia". The family own a tea estate and process tea leaves to extract an ingredient that is used in health products in the US. Logo had to look classic, modern, clean without being too sterile.

The symbol sure is something we've seen before but for what it is (a shadowed leaf, that is) it's not bad I guess.
The thing that REALLY gets me is the font- I'm not sure if I'm just biased against whatever font this is but I just can't stand it. And you have it kerned out sooooo far, which (for me, anyway) is making it even worse.
I'm also unsure about the subtext being off to the side and being another thin san serif. The two fonts are too similar. But I'd for sure play around with other fonts for your main text- something more modern looking maybe?
I'd re-work the font and MAYBE make sure that you don't have something else rolling around in your head in regards to the symbol. (But it seems that a plant symbol is at least fitting for a company that I'm guessing has much to do with plant biology!?)
I really like this. Sara has a good point about the text. Especially the sub text, it is very sterile. I love the colors and symbol.
I really like that logo. I have no problem with the main typeface. The subtext would need some more tweaking indeed.
Other than that, I like the sipmicity of it.
Good work.
Concordo plenamente com o Shawali, as cores representa ambiente ecológico, a fonte simples e direta, a folha e a gota de água muito bom! Parabéns.
