I don't mind the idea behind this, but certain things about it bother me. The colors scream Neapolitan ice cream to me- they're too pale, too pastel.... But they're also kind of reminiscent of the desert as well- and maybe that's appropriate for Ploteca!?

Also - I don't think the circular shape is adding anything to your symbol- take it out and it'd possibly be a stronger symbol!

Lastly, maybe play around with a few new fonts. The font you've chosen is kind of plain and boring- BUT it's not the worst thing I've ever seen. It's also REALLY kerned out- why is C.A. so far away from Ploteca!? (And I don't think you need the periods after C and A- it should just read Ploteca, CA I think!? :)
