Potato Division

Brief from client
This was just a fun logo for my father who wanted a sticker for his ute.
He harvests potatoes and wanted something with his tractor and harvester on it and the words "Potato Division". Just a bit of fun.
This logo was created from scratch with no stock imagery. I drew the harvester and tractor using the pen tool in illustrator and using photos for reference. Some objects were traced from existing images.

Too complex. This is not a logo, but a poster.
I think you may have gone a little overboard with the illustrations details... besides that you kind of lose the "Creese North East" in the illustration itself, and the black 3d effect behind potato is strange since it gets larger to the right. Overall if you were going for a sticker this would probably work depending on the size,aside from the type problems I mentioned, but as a logo it's much too complicated.
Yeah not so much a logo but more of an advertisement I guess. The 3d had perspective which is why it gets bigger. The sticker is 600mm wide.
