ok- is there a particular reason you are married to this "Bender-ish" looking bot? In other words- do his characteristics have significance to the company? The orange teeth are throwing me a bit. I feel like robots give a great opportunity for creativity- they can literally look however you want them too- you may be missing a chance to do something really unique here! I will say your revision did help it not look as much like Bender.

Now, for the type- I'm really digging the font (and treatment of) for Rafflebot. (I would love to know what font you used too!) Good job on that.

Thanks j.o.y.

Rafflebot.io app uses an external, random illustrated-bot generating service called https://robohash.org/

If you type https://robohash.org/rafflebot.png the random robot that comes up is the one attached here, thus, that's the bot I designed.

I am not trying to knock-off Blender, at all. I actually don't like that character nor Futurama :p - In other words, I'm not being inspired by Blender to design my robot. Only after I finished it, I realized that there was a resemblance to Blender.

What are your thoughts?

BTW, the font I used is called BioRhyme, from Google Fonts: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/BioRhyme

I combined the stems from the F's.

Here's my take on the whole Bender debate...

The way I understand it, the premise of this website is to create a randomly generated avatar of a robot, which is composed of several characteristics that can be used in a certain combination to resemble a unique image.

When combined in a certain way, it has a chance to generate a robot with reasonable resemblance to Bender from Futurama. It is what it is; that's the way the site functions, and whether or not this process is at odds with potential copyright issues, that's another issue entirely, and I'm honestly unsure how much control you have in that aspect.

What we do know is that you have a lot more freedom with the logo. My opinion is this: avoid restricting your logo to one specific mascot or character, especially when the idea behind Rafflebot is there are many possibilities based on a random result. I would suggest making the mascot in your logo a bit more generic, yet still embodying the idea of a robot. You're able to kill two birds with one stone this way: dodging questionable resemblances, and tailoring the brand's identity to represent an avatar that can be interpreted multiple different ways. Does that make sense?

Now on to the logo feedback. Obviously I've pointed out my take on the symbol. I think the font style is fine, I might eliminate one of the inner lines, though.

I wouldn't incorporate the website and tagline with the logo. They appear to be designed as afterthoughts here, anyway. I realize you don't want to draw as much attention to them, so maybe the solution here is to leave them out. "Live Raffle System" seems a bit redundant anyway in conjunction with the brand name, anyway.

Hope this helps. Again, I know the whole Bender deal seems trivial, but even if copyright isn't an issue, it's better to avoid the similarity altogether anyway. You want people to remember the brand as its own identity, not as the character that sorta looks like (insert character here). After all, it's not about a crude robot who swears/drinks/smokes :)

Great feedback xKillswitch, TRULLY appreciate it.

The part that I liked the most was "You want people to remember the brand as its own identity", and I 110% agree.

Back to the drawing board for the bot, I may drop it altogether, let's see.

Thank you very much :)
