Unfortunately, I think you've confused simple with simplistic.

A minimalist logo doesn't mean you can throw a simple shape in there, a super basic font and call it done. All these logos (the are the same idea) looks like they've been done in under 5 minutes each, without prior preparation, like research, inspiration and more importantly sketching. It really shows.

Simple logos are more often than not the toughest to achieve. You can't hide behind fancy ornementions, complex bits and bops, etc. It's got to be a 100% perfect, with the right amount of white space between the elements, the right angle, the right tracking and kerning. Unfortunately, you got none of those.

I totally understand what you've tried to do, and it's very commandable, but it's also a tough nut to crack. Get some inspiration for minimalist logo design (Pinterest is your new best friend) so you can see how great simple logos demand a whole lot of work.

Good luck!

Thank you for your comment, i appreciate you took some time to write it, while you rated it, i find you judged that no time spent for inspiration sketching and etc, i can tell you I've spent more than 200 hrs doing all these, even my pinterest account have even more collection of logos and branding designs.

What I'm asking here sir is having direct suggestions to make it better and avoid mistakes in it, even decide choose between different styles for the same concept.

Here's my collection of designs on Pinterest

maybe you could upload some of your sketches? There could be something there that could work better, and the fine folks on here could give you some direction.
I agree with what has been said though, this really lacks any personality- and all four versions are similar and equally underwhelming. =(

You are seeking "critique" and essentially we are giving it to you!!!! This needs a total overhaul!

sure sir , i'm looking forward for your opinion, here are some

There are some interesting shapes in these sketches that could have potential. I particularly like these vertically aligned blue little shapes. Every single one on its own is already more exciting than the logos you came up with.

Ok then, will start over again and may be i come up with something better from these shapes, thanks sir

Can I ask what all those hours were focused on? I find it incredible that one dedicated all that time for a big gray box and Myriad Pro font (the default font).

Be honest. Did you actually research the competition, or did you hit a mental wall?

Your Pinterest portfolio demonstrates you have an eye for design. It just doesn't translate well here. It honestly feels like a completely different feel than your others. It may be because it's not surrounded by bits and pieces within your branding space that I see you enjoy using.

I would advise being a bit more deliberate in your design process. A giant rectangle can stand for anything. It's not very memorable.

Thank you for your comment, yes honestly I researched most furniture businesses logos, do it yourself and find out what they're all about , chair with the name or any piece of furniture, and simply I hate it all and I won't imitate ,

during Hours spent for sketching, I moved from one logo concept to 2nd then this one , but found out that all logos of furniture look and feel the same

i'm not defending my choice, i'm totally open to suggestions, but sadly no one is suggesting anything specific, may be I misunderstood the site here , may be it's some kind of competition based on voting , but I thought it's for helpful discussions

i'll attach here what people on fiverr designed and other designers in my place did , as well as how i'm planning to use the logo

All I want is a minimal simple logo just to be able to use in my business identity and branding
thank you sir for your time

This site isn't for hand holding. Part of the creative process is accepting the direction you're going in is the wrong one and moving on.

You don't have to imitate, but drawing inspiration is natural and perfectly acceptable. As it stands, I still believe you're better off with another direction.

I'll start over again, will try to get inspired by the sketches, thank you

These 2 exemples from Fiverr are actually really good. They each of their own personality, cool composition and a simple yet memorable symbol and a great matching font to boot.

Now, what does Fiverr has to do with all this? It is the plague of any freelance creative, like all those spec work websites who make designers work ridiculously hard for abysmal wages.

my concept of using the shape

Ok- I am liking the images of the "deconstructed" box in the 4th upload of sketches- I think you were on to something there. It is interesting and some even mimic a letter M. I suggest you keep working that idea.

As for the site- we don't vote against or for anyone! We actually take time out of our day to look at, comment, and give advice to anyone on here who wants it. Sometimes (like life!) the critique is harsh- but 100% respectful and with helpful intent. If we told everyone that everything was awesome- what would be the point??? (lol if you want that send it to your friends on facebook! hahaha)

Oh yea and I am a female =)

Yes sure i get it, i didn't upload it here to get praised at all :), these feedbacks are great, may be i sound defensive but I'm all about getting better, just i didn't accept the judgment, :D, have a great day, thank you again

I wonder if adding some colour to make the significance of the shape as reminiscent of furniture more apparent... I've tried to upload a very quick suggestion of what I'm getting at.
