Brief from client
This is a logo I've created for my company. I wanted a vintage, but also a hey look at me here feeling, to get notice and hopefully remembered. My company makes replacement decal sets for for old outboards and Snowmobile etc.

The fill used for "Decal-FX" was supposed to be white
I like it and I think most car people would like it also. Maybe change the font for the tagline to something more bold and striking.
Hmm... I don't know what to say.
It's got many elements of a good logo, but when you put them together the whole graphic isn't quite there for me.
You have 3 typefaces, major no-no in design unless you REALLY know what you're doing, or if the design piece is art directed with a very clear intent of varied typography.
The slogan is unnecessary in this context, so I wouldn't include it as part of the logo.
I like the colors AFTER reading what the business was about. If I don't know the business, the logo reminds me of a casino in Las Vegas. Was that your intent though? (Oh! I just re-read your brief :] - I wasn't wrong, lol)
I'm missing the "decal" reference, it looks very "signage" not very "decal".
If you're not a designer, I suggest you hire one.
If you're not a surgeon you hire one, right? :)
Good luck!
¡Mucha Suerte!.
the font in tag line is not fit to concept
Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I've updated the tagline typeface to a lighter weight value of the one used on "Repro" for version two, as well as corrected the fill on "Decal-FX" to white. See http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/critique/reprodecl-fx-inc-0
For me is...Perfect!! Compliment
The lower right corner of the red quadrangle visually pulls down and creates an imbalance in the composition. Font inscriptions Decal-FX painfully hackneyed.
Personally I think this is spot on for the industry it is for.
