You totally went for the overalls! =) I'm actually digging the quirkiness of this now!
But.......the way you have illustrated the facial features in that stark black doesn't fit with the style of the rest of the logo. Try to simplify that some- the rest of the logo is made of simple flat color shapes.

I must, I'm pleasantly surprised by this overalls idea. It works pretty well, albeit not very simple.

I agree with Joy with facial features. They complicates the whole thing, on top of being graphically inconsistent with the rest. I'd remove that black and keep it to 3 colors top.

The font of the word mark works, but I would look for a complimenting font for the subtext.

You need to tweak that tool box.

The floating limbs needs to be resolved too, but this is a fun idea. Try and complete the body with the arms and head where they're at. And as other said, refine the face and toolbox. Hands would be nice, too if you can make it work.

Wow, cannot believe a progress on overalls ever since I mentioned on a first version when rhino was a real estate agent. It is nice to see that he is a builder now and overalls fits him well in that regard.I'd like to see rolls of blue prints under a left arm. Orange protective helmet and working boots would be a nice addition, too. Agree on earlier comments about tool box and what's in it, but want to see a tool box being done dimensional and be lifted from a ground level more.Speaking about a level - level tool would a good thing to include in a tool box. I like this one and with all the suggestions and some fun here - it will be concurred to a desired level of success.

The tool box is better, and the facial features are much better too! But the hard hat I'm not loving. It's not really recognizable how you have it drawn, and it's not adding anything for me. Good progress!

The wife beater worked better when it was only suggested in the negative space. Now, I just see a rhino behind a house, and the overalls thing is gone.

Good work on the facial features, though. I'm still wondering if that hammer and helmet are too small and generally complicate the whole thing. Maybe if you just remove them altogether and just put the helmet on the rhino's head.

Placing a helmet on rhino's head was a right move. Ear behind a helmet needs to be more distinctive. Left palm looks empty - a roll of blue print or level would benefit your general idea. Start looking better.

I like the change of his shirt back to white. And the hard hat could be a tiny bit bigger, or at least just do away with his right ear.(you don't need that tiny piece of it sticking up).
I don't mind the other hand being empty- you have enough to sufficiently get the point across- you don't have to over-do it, and it might over complicate without adding anything. =)
I wish you would upload as a new version, we lose all the progression of this logo (and our earlier comments sound weird now!lol)

It's difficult to gauge the progress on this logo if you keep changing the main image. Upload a new version instead.

Also, I think this is getting way too complicated.

This is definitely a step in the right direction.

But in the words of the late great Bob Ross, let's get crazy here: remove the tool box altogether! Crazy, I told you. You already have the idea of construction with the helmet and it makes the whole thing very left heavy and unbalanced.
