I think the colors and typography are a good fit but I don't see how it's related to heavy hauling

I think you can lose the RD symbol. The stylized dash between the Ro and Dan speaks volumes. I would probably consider turning the slant to the right so it looks like the truck is moving forward, not backward...unless you're in a left-hand drive country.

I'll start off with a logo/symbol : 1. that white negative space between " R " and " D " reads " P " to me at the moment, unless, you can extend the upper bar of the " P " onto a gray vertical of the " D " and the same goes from the base to make a " T " for " trucking "., 2. your tone of red and tone of gray are identical and makes it hard to distinguished between the two letters unless there is an outline., 3. get rid of these tiny white lines., 4. I would work more on a symbol to polish some curves and lines, to make it more dynamic., 5. somehow I would like to see a truck's tractor silhouette created from your " RD "., 6. your stylish dash looks nothing more than a cigarette butt at the moment., 7. your typography is screaming to be slanted to be haul by a truck.I like the colors. I don't buy the two thin lines under " Ro - Dan ".Nothing in your idea make me think of a trucking business, as of yet...You've got plenty of work ahead of you before this one can be presented. Good luck and continue to work on that.

I'm not feeling this one. I get a sense of 90's futuristic thing going on here.
