R&R ICE CREAM

I think this is really, really forced. It doesn't work well for me and it doesn't say ice cream. I don't see the milk bottles you refer to. I also don't think back to back Rs are very original. This doesn't appear to have taken much time or creative thought. Please share some of the other ideas you came up with.

Try to give more lightness. Functionally it will work, optically it is neither individual or meaningful. Needs more time, love and intention

Once you see the milk bottle top and sicker, you can't unsee it. Maybe use some colour to differentiate the element? Really like it.

I thought at first it was just to R stuck together.

And then I read Print365's comment and now I see the top of the bottle of milk + the label. And indeed, I can't unsee it.

2 problems: first, it's way too subtle. Unless you're told there's a bottle of milk in there, nobody will notice and just a super generic logo. Second, with the word ice cream in the wordmark, I won't instinctively think about a bottle of milk. would expect something with a cone, or an actual ice cream.

I like the typography, good spacing, but I just don't think it's the right style for dairy products?

Spent a whole minute or two, still didn''t see any milk bottle, until someone mentioned it. Most people only glance at a logo for 5 seconds max, doubtly they would see it?

If there were some kind of line underneath, the bottle would be more obvious. Or move the text closer. See what I mean, I drew an under line on ms paint, hope you don't mind:

You have several people telling you that the symbol in the middle is way too subtle. I'm personally still not seeing the milk bottle in the middle. If anything, I see a ribbon. I also agree with the comments above, corporate logo or not, the font is very bold and very structured and it doesn't read ice cream OR dairy to me. It looks more like a generic street wear company logo.

I think that if you want to use the milk bottle + R together, you should try making the R's fit the milk bottle symbol, rather than force a milk bottle symbol to show through the R's. People will recognize letters more easily than something as obscure as a milk bottle. I think it'd be more clever if it was a milk bottle that just happened to have two R's in it, rather than the other way around. Add some color.
