Brief from client
A plant-based food company, Rugged Kitchen creates nourishing and honest food that is inspired from outside the box thinking. The logo needs to capture the rebellious nature of the brand.
I wanted to play with the brand based on the concept of timeless journey and the free spirited idea of the roadtrip. It was inspired by license plates after I saw them in a montage on a wall in a bar in California. It encapsulates the Bonnie & Clyde element to the renegade nature of the brand.

I love this. BUT! I would not use Illustrator preset brushes, like ever. It's a bit like using clip arts to me. It just gives that amateurish look to an otherwise great looking logo.
But besides that, it's a really good job!
Thanks a lot. I think some if it has to do with the fact I just took a quick screen shot of the image...not the smartest thing to do for the purpose of this. The quality is reduced.
Yes. I did use a preset brush..any idea of what I could use instead?
I find it interesting that you want to describe out of the box thinking by putting the name in a box. I definitely get the license plate idea. I am kinda torn as to whether or not I like this or hate this, but I don't love this.
