The general shape is interesting.
But the end result is not. Right off the bat: get rid of the strokes and those terrible gradients.
You also need to tweak those curves. In the middle part, you got to make sure that the lower part matches exactly the one above. Right now it's not. The small bits on the top right and left below need to be fine tuned too.
The whole "design" being typed in white thing, hence invisible is weird and serves no useful purpose. Like all your classmates should also do, get rid of it altogether. Your logo by itself should say it.
I've already said this many times on this site, but as far as graphic designers are concerned, think more in terms of visual signature, something simple and memorable, rather that in terms of the usual corporate logo, with the ubiquitous equation: symbol + wordmark + subtext. You are a human being, not a corporation.
