Brief from client
Design a logo for a company that gives Music Lesson Classes to Children for free to kids that cannot simply afford music lessons.
Logo was meant to show a growth for musical talent for the kids who really want to play music but just cannot afford it

I like the tree a lot! The colors are nice as well. I'd say the only thing I'd question would be the font choice, but that may just be me. Really nice overall!
Looks really good, though I'm not a fan of how the trunk looks like, maybe a bit too pointy, but that's just me.

I love it :D But I will have to agree in terms of font, The bottom type is too heavy and the top type is too thin. Maybe swap the two? Or just use a better font altogether - which may be best lol. The term "Cosmo Music" should be more emphasized, since that's the company name - not "SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION".
I like the idea of this, and even the main look of it (if that makes sense) but I see a few little issues that might need solving. 1- The musical notes might just disappear if this is printed on a small scale. NOT that they don't look nice, they really do (and I like that they're blue instead of the typical green- good call) but if you shrunk this down to put it on a business card or something, those are going to get REALLY small really quickly- possibly even to the point that one might have a hard time telling what they are. 2- The font would not have been my choice - I can't put my finger on which one it is exactly, but I think there's some stronger looking sans serif out there that would be a better choice. It also kinda bugs me that the top line is so much thinner than the bottom two lines, like gigafrost mentioned. Overall, I dig it- just with a few changes if it were me!
Overall that's a very good and promising beginning. Symbol is good, I just pressed wrong button. Yet I have to agree with saraqroxy - leaves become really small. Yet you have to try to print it out. Maybe if the printer is good you still will be able to distinguish them. Yes, something has to be done to the fonts. Maybe not as radical as I did it, yet there should be some sort of contrast between "COSMO MUSIC" and "SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION". Hope that helps.
No offense, Allpreacher, but I like Trapster's original type handling better than what you've done. I'm not sure those 2 heavy type boxes do anything for the mark at all. I think it looks quite nice exactly as presented. In fact, the font choice looks musical without emulating musical notation too closely. I'd have to say, nice job, Trapster!
