Brief from client
Hi Guys,
I'm currently working on a personal project of rebranding the existing seatwave logo (they buy and sell tickets to music, sporting and cultural events). I found it tougher than expected...I have developed a few different visual routes, but they're still not there yet...
I will appreciate your feedback that will help me to steer in the right direction.
Thanks,

Unfortunately, none of these solutions are an improvement.
Here's an idea: play on the idea of "wave." Maybe add an outline of a wave and combine it with the jagged perforation of a ticket stub (I have it visualized in my head, but it's a bit difficult to put into words..) Gradient-dependent spotlights and a jagged "W" doesn't help convey the core of the business as strongly, which is tickets in general.
I might also explore other text options. The one you used looks a bit dated to me.
Good luck!
Edit: I know Charlie's going to tell you the same thing, but we're only supposed to have one logo per post.
Indeed, you are allowed only one logo per post (your post will eventually me edited, you might want to keep one and put the rest in the comment section)
That being said, Killswitch is right. None of your proposals are better than the original logo, or even work on their own. They globally feel rushed and badly though through. You need to sketch a few hundred ideas before committing to anything on your computer.
Creating a logo directly on Illustrator is generally a pitfall, especially for beginners. Ideas will flow way more easily on paper than on screen.
Keep working on it!
