Brief from client
Trying to create a brand for myself as a freelance designer.
Running into walls trying to brand myself as a designer. I think it's off to a good start but lacks a little something. I wanted to avoid the typical merging of initials as it has been done many times.
Need a little bit of direction on where this needs to go and feedback on the idea of the text inside the box.

I like your color palette.
Nice type face.
Cool coincidence your first name has "vice" in it. Maybe you can run with that. Seems like you aren't looking to go edgy for your design brand.
Things to improve on:
The concept is leaving a lot of uncomfortable space for me between N, T, E. (this could be because I have never really like this concept anywhere. Its too damn hard to ready and figure out)
Your top and bottom margins can use a little tightening. I feel like they should be equal to the left and right margins.
Make sure, if you are going to text above and below (which I think is a little too wordy) you should really make it the same distance from your main graphic. Check your spacing because it is off by a few pixels.
Overall, good start like you said. Keep at it.
