Siccle
Brief from client
This business is a new ice siccle company with a carribbean twist. We will be creating custom ice siccle flavors, Peanut punch, beet carrot and ginger etc.The company name is Siccle the slogan is "niceness and nutrients from the carribbean". This logo should be eye catching where we can put it on shirts and hat for sale and giveways. Also we must be able to create a marketing campaign around this logo. For stores, super markets, ice cream truck etc.
Nice to Have:
- logo should indicate some kind of mouth watering tastiness. I'll also like the slogan added in wih the design.

The logo is created with a smooth flowing font with a carribbean color palette. The popsicle is given a pinkish-orange color with light pink cream dripping on to the dot of the letter "i" giving it a very creamy feel. The subtle dripping effect gives the viewer a mouth watering visual experience without it being too overwhelming. The wave represents a couple things such as the gradient of caribbean colors that represent the wide variety of flavors you offer and a pair of smiling lips (actually makes a smiley face with the 2 c's) that further represent satisfaction and flavor. The logo itself looks good enough to eat (hopefully)

it's way too much in one logo.
i got the idea but, If I come across a shop with this logo on their doors, I won't walk in.
good try, but it's too much. especially if the customer wants a marketing campaign, shirts, hats, giveaways, etc. when you do a logo you should think about how the customer will use it and if the customer will have to pay a lot to get the products they want in the end.
It's a good start but the popsicle is taking over. What would this look like in it's simplest form? If it was reduced to black and white would you still like it just as much?
Ohmygosh. One thing that looks like it's maybe not been mentioned is that the popsicle is FLESH COLORED!! Aaaaugh! I would sincerely change the color of the popsicle. Other than that, I agree wholeheartedly with everything that's been said. WAY too much going on here.
I would absolutely remove the weird little pink stroke on the underside of the popsicle, the wavy line above the subtext, the droplet over the i, the melted stuff on the dot of the i and I'd make the main text all one color.
All in all, this needs a lot of work, a lot of toning down, and a lot of simplifying. I dunno, maybe even start over with a whole new deal!? Good luck either way!
I agree with everything that had be said so far, with the tiny nuance that I think you can keep that font.
But other than that, nothing works. Too many elements and flashy colors, totally off balance.
The coulours don't say Caribbean. The drip effect is useful but the concept would work better without the actual popsiccle. Having that element would confuse future brand and product extensions i.e. new flavours, new packaging (tubular ice creams) etc.
You are close with the typography, although the "S" and "iccle" need to be more connected, i am not sure i understand the reasoning behind the colour seperation?
Remove the popsicle, you could potentially keep the drip effect on the dot of the "i" and work on the tagline and all colours, I think you have the right feel but just not quite the right execution.
