Brief from client
The client helps businesses to find funding without going through the tedious process of forms after forms with banks etc they have an algorithm that finds the right people willing to fund their business. They wanted a nice modern logo with a dollar sign incorporated in it that looks trustworthy.
For the icon I rotated and modified a dollar symbol, and my idea was to make the dollar sign not so obvious and make it unique. I extended the ends of the S past the circle to act like a road, a journey from start to finish to their financial needs.
I used blue as it is a great trustworthy color.
For the text I used a typeface that I felt complimented the icon and looked modern and was legible. I did round off the corners of the text as to just make it a bit more approachable and friendly and to help match with the icon.
Don't go easy on me I am just keen to improve.
