A logo for a Foundation called 'Space' that provides physical therapy to special needs children from low income families. Space stands for: Special People Accessing Creative Education.
The Foundation is based in the Philippines. They operate a mobile therapy bus and a catamaran to reach distance places and patients. I chose these colors to match the pure, tropical water and sky. The background is white to match the white bus and boat. The P "people" reaches out a helping hand. The A is the 'Space', and the center of the A illustrates the island they're based at.

Yes but no.
While the idea is pretty good, the end result just doesn't work. From the thumbnail version, I saw something weird going on with a in negative space. That hand is way too small and only complicates the logo. Also, the way the C is cut up on its left doesn't look good at all.
I'm also not a fan of each character being in a different shade of blue/green. Go for a full on gradient all over the word mark, but don't forget to make a gradient free version to gain more flexibility.
You got a more that potent idea here, you just need to spend way more time working on it (that means a lot of sketching)

This looks good, but the hand is too small.
