Brief from client
Background Actors Agency
Client wanted a colourful, modern logo that represented their acting agency with star quality
Its fine at this size but could it be scaled down I wonder? The individual dots would be very small when reproduced on, say, a letterhead. Apart from that I like it.
I like the idea, but it's not completely working at this stage. The "starcorp" type as nice as it is, seems forced modern or sci-fi. Perhaps it's because it is paired with the neutral "promotions" type. The symbol is okay, but I feel like I've seen it before. For this industry I think it works, but colors might cause a problem with printing (just because of quantity), and it's a little retro 1980's NBC peacock color combo. In other words, the color scheme doesn't feel on-trend right now.
I think it looks great! I would maybe play around with the colors and the contrast of the size of the circles within the star shape. Maybe make the second two rows of dots smaller.
