Stick figure rear window sticker
Shelby Bates | Thu, 09/13/2012 - 08:28
Brief from client
I have been seeing a lot of stick figure families on the rear windows of peoples cars and I thought this would be a funny sticker for my truck.
I didn't realize this was for logos only. My mistake and sorry to have offended you. I came on this forum to get constructive criticism and grow as a graphic artist. I am not here to talk trash with people who think think they are better than everyone else just because you can talk shit about someone else's artwork.
Noone is offended, I just let you know that you chose the wrong page to post your sticker to. If you think we talk shit, why were you interested in our opinion on your work?
On your sticker: I never seen any "stick people" on any car yet so I don't find the idea as funny as you do. The graphic is too crowded, not easy to figure out what's going on on the picture. If you use this on your car, other drivers will have 1-2 seconds to look at it from a distance and they will never figure out your picture. The same thing is true for the typography, your font is not the kind that anyone can read from a distance, from another car. If you want to communicate to other drivers on a sticker, you need to chose a font that is very easy to read, make your message really short and use the simplest graphic possible. You also need to leave more space between the graphic and the text.
This is all the shit I can say about your artwork, I hope it helps.

Why do you post a sticker on a web page where logos are discussed?
What are you thinking This is a logo site and anyway that does not look all that interesting or new I think I have seen this before.
