Studio Grave

Sorry to say, this hasn't gotten any better since your last one. (Your last one was the red business in the red square, right?)

In any case, here are the problems with this logo as I see them:

The microphone looks like clip art, the fonts both have gradients in them, the fonts both have a slight drop shadow and/or strokes on them, the black fading into orange isn't pretty, the audio wave symbol (or whatever you call it!?) ALSO has a gradient in it AND it's positioned so that it not only interferes with reading "Studio" a little bit but it also manages to really interfere with reading "Grave".

Start over again. Or hire a designer. They can be found in most cities for a relatively cheap price via Craigslist. These logos (and I'm sorry if this isn't true) strike me as the attempts of someone who got Illustrator or InDesign for xmas and doesn't yet know how to use it.

Saraqroxy is mostly right. Except for one thing. You should keep on trying.
These are some guidelines where to start. You need to practice quite a bit. I know i used to do this kind of kitsch when i started drawing in Flash 5 :)) rofl.

though i'm new in logo design, but i followed that quote and my skill develop much faster than the other students.
i suggest that you follow that quote too, try removing things until you can't remove anymore. If the audio wave can be remove, please do; if the jagged edge of the microphone can be remove, please do; if the MICROPHONE can be remove, PLEASE DO. As you remove elements away, adjust the remaining elements to make them appear stronger.
You need some time to develop your logo design skill, you know i still make a lot of crappy logos right now but those are so much better than my first one.
