for the dog i have used a picture of a bulldog and drew some parts of it with the pen tool i went maybe a little crazy haha does it work? thx for the critics

Ehh. The offset image isn't doing it for me. I'd just go ahead and center it. Maybe have the mascot stick out of the frame as you've done already on the right side.
For the most part, however, it looks authentic. I wonder if the text should be curved to match the top of the shield shape, though. That part kind of bothers me.

I like the off set thing. It's pretty well balanced.
But yes, it does totally look like a terrier =) Maybe just change the name.
