The Ocean Restaurant

Brief from client
To come up with a logo for a Restaurant.
The Restaurant is called Ocean Restaurant it is located in Uganda (East Africa). So I used the waves and the chef hat to come up with logo - guys tell me what you think about the logo.
I have made the changes, so guys would love to come and have dinner or eat from this place?

I think this works so much better, maybe make restaurant that dark blue
It's nice and elegant.
Works pretty good. I would just change 'OCEAN' text color to darker hue (the one you used on a small wave in your graphic mark) for better contrast.
The two outer waves should have the same lights and shadows that the inner wave has... unless those are not waves.
I also think you could use the darker blue of the waves in "OCEAN".

The text looks off center to me.. Check that pls.
Use the dark blue for "OCEAN" and I think yr done.
Although this logo says Ocean to me it does not speak anything of a restaurant. I also don't see the chef's hat. I think maybe something that speaks of atmosphere of the restaurant might help this logo. The offset text does not work for me either.
I agree with changing OCEAN to the dark blue. At first glance the typography looks nice but check your kerning. My biggest issue is that RESTAURANT is not aligned with OCEAN (hanging off the left edge). Make those typo edits and you've got a winner!
