looks elegant with a lot of detail and work but, if this was shrunk to a smaller size for a shirt, may have some issues with it. is this a photoshop filter on the illustration?

Hey, thanks. Yes it is a photoshop filter on the illustration, it was just due to the rust effect requirement.. but I have warned him about the re sizing issue... any way if i could get a similar effect on illustrator??

yes you can.. find some tuts to create rust effect, on illustrator (right click, create mask - done)
