Toyota Addix Logo for a toyota owners club & Social Development in Cape Town South Africa
The oval and colours itself comes from the original toyota logo and the inspiration for the TA from the Kanji Japanese writing for To Yo Ta
the black represends the windows of the car and is not part of the artwork, its just how the sticker looks on a window tinted black.
Decided on a nice Bold Font to keep everything simple for when stickers are reproduced for club members, all the toyota addix branded t shirts & stickers have the TA logo and the Clubs tag line "Genuine Addixion" in the same font but in capital letters, which is not included on the logo itself but everything else
so let me know what you ladies and gents think of it

I dont like the font choice and or the website being in the logo.
I guess you have to keep the colors
The symbol does not blend well with the font
the actual logo is just the symbol and the text the website is just what appears on the cars quarter vent and back windscreen
too much going on.
i've promoted for nationwide and worldwide car shows and i've seen many different car club logos, there were too many logos that never stood out very well. the problem with that was because the lack of originality. the oval with the "ta" in it is clever however it does not fit the design in my opinion. you also have to keep in mind that, me, coming from a background of over 10 years of promotion for hundreds of car clubs and dozens of car shows, i've seen almost everything. ditch this entire idea, as this idea has similarity with the Toyota Motor Japan logo.
thanks for the comments , it was taken from this logo then shifted together :) to form the TA symbol inside a toyota oval.
I like it!! the symbol is fresh and adequate for a webpage and te two versions are excellent. :)
The font looks very unprofessional and I can't read "TA".inside the ellipse.
as said above, u cant really understand what the logo is about. ur A looks more like a weirdly shaped R . change the fonts. u might be getting onto sumthing then

i did think racing, and then i thought the rev counter and the racing flag was a bit over played, its also a family orientated club so couldn't really go with those anyway :) if you look at the symbol and the text without the web address is it kind of sleek. might need to be tweeked a bit in the few years to come
I admit that the web address makes it look more complicated overall. I just can't get past the font. Square "O"s... that wouldn't roll. I would want my design to look like it was either in motion or had the capability (if that makes sense.. that's how my head works :P). I could swear that those details weren't there when I critiqued this.. I may have felt different about the symbol if I knew the background and had known that your audience would recognize it.
