wha asbout a blank backgroud , eh ? it doesnt look bad but i am still unable to have an opinion about the typeface. I would try several more things before finish.

Fix the fonts and kerning. Other things will fit in.

The spacing on the tagline doesn't work. CMYK refers to printing. For light you better use RGB.

It looks way to much like the Universal logo. I guess it was what you were going for but you're into plagiarism territory here.

Well, allow me to have some doubts about that. Universal, one of the biggest corporations in history, must have some pretty drastic branding guidelines. They would never let their world famous typeface be butchered like it is here. =)
