Your colors aren't too bad and your symbol is getting there. But that ugly background is way to distracting for me to pay any attention to it. Please can you post a version on a plain white background? That way its not so jarring.
Your symbol also doesn't need any texture on it or drop shadow, both of these elements over-complicate your logo and those fine details are going to get lost in small sizes anyway - The texture on the symbol will be nearly invisible to printers as well and you risk it coming out as a flat gray color!
Your kerning on your letters also are waaaayyyyy too tight! Space it out a bit by at least 3px o.o
Rework those issues and I'm certain that you'd have a better logo overall :D

I uploaded the image was as this customer, and there was a brand with that name but the customer still wanted it: S for that reason opt for a thicker typo.

Kerning on that version looks a little better, I like the colors of that upload way more too (though the green may be a little too bright)

I love the version without all the cheesy photoshop effects.
As Gigafrost pointed out, fix that nasty kerning.
And the green is way too bright, as if you kept in RGB. I kinda read "lockers".
But anyhoo, this looks promising.
It's my one and only opinion but I'm not fond of this typo and the green you used on the without background logo, too bright like said Shawali.
