How would you envision this functioning in a one color environment? If this company had sales reps or store uniforms, how would this translate to embroidery?

Not feeling your typography combination. This feels more like a poster than a logo. Jon's comment is on point- this has too many bells n whistles for a logo.

My general rule of thumb.

If you can look at anything that Microsoft designed between the years 1995-2002, and your design looks remotely like it, you need to choose a different path.
