Brief from client 

FB graphic, playing off of Black Lives Matter and the Bernie Sanders campaign to promote and acknowledge the fact that he has been a champion of civil rights consistently for over 50 years.

So I think all we need is love to make the world go round so i hinted at a heart. Looking for suggestions on how to make it better.

The curved lines are a design trend that has long gone.

I don't see any heart in this logo. The composition isn't optimum, especially with the text being justified on the right and the star.

Not a fan of the black background. It doesn't really convey the idea of hope, progressivism, etc...

Again, don't hesitate to spend a lot of time watching at existing campaign logos, ID the do's and dont's and start sketching away. Way more than 10, 12 sketches =)
