WearThat App

Brief from client
This is a a fashion social networking mobile app that allows users to interact with each other by picking out outfits for other users.

The full name of the brand is WearThat App, so taking the first letter of the two words and the the hanger image that can be found both on the full logo and icon, I decided to make something simple and easy on the eyes.
The full logo used on the website(www.wearthatapp.com) is currently being modified to this: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zRfZML2cprbly9qgZMo1lR_H-mr8a9wB

Sorry, it reads UT.
Overall, this logo feels very rushed, poorly planned and thought through.
It lacks a few hours of market research, inspiration and more importantly: sketching (on paper, on on screen)
Thanks for the critique. I admit it was a bit rushed and poorly planned though I was going for something simple like facebook, twitter, etc as it is a mobile app and didn't want to think too much on designing it.
I will go back to the drawing board.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Simple logos are the most difficult to achieve and generally require a lot of work. Every curve, every character, every positive and negative space have to be perfectly executed. Facebook and Twitter and logos may look symbol but the amount of work, research, benchmark behind them is staggering.
