Brief from client
We are opening a consignment-based brick and mortar store for local handmade goods and artwork. This is in a small town in Pennsylvania. The name is inspired by a bird called the Speke's Weaver and its unique nest. We are not looking to have much of an online presence. Our customers will be locals.

Putting the nest in the middle like that makes the words look unconnected.
The logo does have a 'local handmade goods and artwork' vibe to it, so in that part it is successful.
I am not sure you need two symbols. Maybe put the weaver in the nest so the nest looks... less... cervixy.
I'm not feeling this one. That symbol on the left looks extremely similar to the Twitter bird. I know it's not necessarily copied, but try to avoid the clipart feel.
I'm not even sure what the symbol on the right is.
What if you designed a nest made of odds and ends, including a bunch of yarn? I think you can really come up with some interesting ideas here.
Good luck.
