Stempel-ECK
The history of Stempel-ECK is connected with Frankfurt. The company was founded by Martin Eck and the engraver Höhner. Martin was a man eager to learn. He discovered the many-sided use of rubber which were also suited to the production of stamp very well.
On the world exhibit in Vienna in 1878 he introduced his elastic stamp and started to sell licences. Martin Eck passed away and the name of Stempel-ECK continued. Nevertheless, the name was preserved and the descendants of the family Höhner-Mehl developed the business till the end of 2006.
Since 2007 Stempel-ECK is escorted by the frankfurters businessman Tobias Döcker who leads the stamp corner further in a respectable future with heart and mind. He works with a jung designer. He's taking the difficult graphicsprojects.
The idea of Martin Eck lives on – even today!
