On 9 May 2026, VfL Wolfsburg unveiled a new, modernised logo featuring the return of the traditional Zinnenwappen (battlement crest). The design features the classic green letter W with battlements on top inside a white circle, restoring a traditional emblem to the club's 80th-anniversary era.
