Brief from client 

i am opening an online forum for pet lovers to discuss certain topics. I need a clean logo which illustrates what I do.

Does the logo mark need anything else and if so. What does it need?

I think the idea is there. The colors are a little to feminine. Maybe that is what you were going for but I think the colors should be more neutral. I could also see this logo causing problems when it is used in smaller sizes. I might make the bubble and text larger.
