While I feel like apples are a super common shape in logos, I guess with a few changes this could be a lot better.
I'd change up several of the colors:
-The leaf color is way too bright, and the stem color might as well be the same color as the green text. (ie- The green text, the stem and the leaf could all just be the same green color.)
-The red text completely clashes with the red of the apple. The text looks maroon- why pick such a different red!? I'd either pick a different color completely or pick a red or green from the apple.
-Remove the bright green stroke from the inside of the apple shape, it's too bright of a color and doesn't need to be there anyway.
All that said, I don't see anything wrong with the font you've chosen, but the L and A on "cola" are touching whereas the rest of the letters are spaced out- fix that kerning a bit!?
I'd either start over with a new idea or make some changes and see where you stand!
I agree. There are more fruits than apples and tomatoes, but they seem to get used the most. This is okay, but there are too many shades of the same color going on. I don't think the gradient is adding anything. The font is nice, but not very fruity. It is very similar to the font used by Dole Food Company.
I feel there are many ideas here is a simple concept and handle better, the idea of an apple to sell fruit is very common and it gets a bit boring if you do not work well ...
