NAV arquitetura

Brief from client
Come up with a logo for a new architecture company. The company wants the logo to spread the idea of modernism and simplicity.
I tried to come up with a logo that have some "architecture" elements, such as rectangles and arches. As the brief from the client requests something modern, I tried to "blend" the shapes overlapping them and using a gradient.

Almost, but I keep reading N-W. If that was the firm instead of NAV I'd be happy with it, maybe if the V was one piece or flat topped on both sides? Also I strongly feel the N should be a uniform width so it doesn't look so much like an upside-down U. But overall I like the direction.
